Frequently asked questions
What are the limits?
You can upload videos up to 100 MB. The GIF itself is capped at 30 seconds and 480 pixels wide — that keeps files small enough to share in chats and on forums.
Why is my GIF still large?
GIF is an old, inefficient format. To shrink it, lower the frame rate to 10 fps, choose the 320 px width, or capture fewer seconds.
Does the GIF include sound?
No — GIFs are silent by design. If you need the audio, use our Extract Audio tool on the same video.
What happens to my video after conversion?
It's processed on our server and automatically deleted within 1 hour. We never keep or share your clips.
