Organize PDF shows every page of your document as a draggable thumbnail, so you can reorder, rotate, or delete pages before saving a clean new file. Thumbnails render with pdfjs-dist and the final document is rebuilt with pdf-lib, both running in your browser tab, so the PDF itself is never uploaded anywhere. Every change you make — new order, per-page rotation, deleted pages — is applied together in a single rebuild the moment you click save, so you only export once.

Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Page previews and the final rebuild all happen in your browser — your document never leaves your device.
Can I rotate and reorder in the same pass?
Yes. Reordering, per-page rotation, and deletion are all applied together when you save, so you only export once.
Is there a page limit?
Thumbnails are shown for the first 100 pages. In longer documents, the remaining pages are kept unchanged at the end of the new file.
Does editing reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as-is into the new file — nothing is re-compressed.
Can I insert pages from another PDF while organizing?
Not in this tool. Merge the files first with Merge PDF, then open the combined document in Organize PDF to reorder or trim pages.
What happens to pages after the 100-page preview limit?
They aren't shown as thumbnails, but they're still included in the saved file. They're appended after the pages you edited, kept in their original order. Since you can't drag or rotate a page you can't see, any reordering, rotation, or deletion you apply only affects the first 100 pages — the rest come through unchanged.
Should I use Split PDF or Organize PDF for removing pages?
Splitting produces multiple new files, one per page range you request; organizing keeps your edits inside a single file. Use Split PDF instead if you want separate documents rather than one edited file.
Why can't I see thumbnails for my file?
If the preview fails to load — for example on a corrupted or encrypted PDF — you'll see a message saying the file can still be processed. Pages then keep their original order rather than the order you dragged them into, since there's no thumbnail to rearrange in the first place. The same limitation applies to rotation and deletion: without a visible thumbnail, those page-level controls aren't available either.
Good to know
- Thumbnails and drag-and-drop only cover the first 100 pages; pages beyond that stay in their original order and rotation at the end of the file.
- There's no way to insert a blank page or a page from a different PDF — merge documents first if you need to combine them.
- Rotation is applied in 90-degree steps only; fine-angle straightening isn't supported.
- If a PDF is locked with a password, it can't be opened for editing here, since page previews require reading the file's structure directly.
