Frequently asked questions
Which voices are available?
The voices come from your own device and browser, so the list differs between Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Arabic voices appear if they're installed on your system — on Windows you can add them under Settings > Time & Language > Speech.
Can I download the audio as an MP3?
No. Your browser's speech engine plays audio directly and doesn't expose a recording we could save — that's a browser limitation, not a missing feature. For an MP3 you'd need a server-based voice service.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Speech is generated by your device's built-in engine — the text never leaves your browser.
Why does long text sometimes stop mid-way in other tools?
Some browsers cut off long utterances. We split your text into short sentence-sized chunks and chain them automatically, so even long documents play to the end.
